Garage doors in GRPAll Banbury Garage Doors are constructed from GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester), the same material used in yacht building. Weight for weight itís stronger than any steel door and without any of the maintenance. They not only look good, replicating the fine detail and nuances of traditional woods, but they're also fade resistant, possess remarkable strength and require minimum maintenance- the odd sponge down will usually suffice. So put away that paint can, forget rust and of course all the problems associated with wooden doors: varnishing, warping, shrinking, twisting and rotting. Banbury Garage Doors are at home in any environment, from the snowy hills of Scotland through to the salt shores of the Cornish coast. With an enviable choice of styles, opening options, finishes, colours and glazing plus optional electronic operators, Banbury Garage Doors offer just about everything you need. And if that wasn't enough we've just launched a range of GRP entrance gates (click on the Gates option for more details). We offer 3 levels of finish on ALL styles:
Framework to the rear of the door is bonded over for a more attractive finish - available in standard and made to measure sizes.
The rear of the door is completely coated to give a smooth and even appearance and lessen the effects of translucency.
This is an advanced reverse system where the rear of the door is entirely enclosed by a flat panel concealing all formation of the framework. On gloss finish doors a smooth flat sheet will be applied to the back of the door. On woodgrain finish doors a tongue and groove effect will be applied.
